Shamil Ibragimov is an experienced executive with a prolific career in Non-Profit Sector. Based in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan he was an executive director of Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia, a leading project management organization in the region.

Shamil is the author of several publications on data-driven governance, urban development, civic engagement and co-author of Income generation handbook published in 2010. Shamil is also a founder of IlimTech Lab an NGO established in 2014 with a mission to educate children to science and technologies, seeking to place skills, as much as subjects, at the heart of the teaching process. He is a member of Central Eurasia Leadership Alliance, board member of Kyrgyz American Foundation, board member of the Kyrgyz E-commerce Association, and member of the Board of Directors of “Ilim” educational complex, the oldest private school in the country.

Ibragimov is a graduate of the Kyrgyz National University, with a major in International Politics and MPA Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government. He is Edward S. Mason fellow, recipient of Mary and David Boies scholarship, and a Fulbright Fellow
